Trnava University has been a proud member of the Erasmus+ programme since 1998. We are pleased to host international academic and administrative staff who wish to participate in mobility for teaching or training purposes. Our university is committed to fostering international cooperation, exchanging best practices, and building strong academic partnerships. Mobility is usually carried out through the Erasmus+ programme or based on bilateral agreements.

Types of Mobility Organised within KreativEU

KreativEU offers various forms of mobility that complement traditional Erasmus+ programmes:

  • Physical mobility – students, academics, and researchers travel between partner universities, with an emphasis on environmentally friendly means of transport.

  • Virtual mobility – online teaching, seminars, workshops, and research collaboration.

  • Blended mobility – a combination of physical and virtual mobility, enabling greater flexibility for participants.

  • Summer schools and joint courses – focused on cultural heritage, creativity, ecological topics, and digital innovation.

  • Mobility for administrative staff and alumni – exchange of experience, training, and participation in projects.

Application Procedure

A list of events and mobility opportunities is available on the main KreativEU website, where you can find a brief description of each event, its location, and the registration form.

Nomination

The selection of candidates for events organised by the KreativEU consortium is based on internal criteria set by the home (sending) university or another internal event coordinator. For further details, please contact your university’s International Office.

Application

All details of your stay must be reviewed and confirmed by Trnava University, which you will visit as part of your participation in a KreativEU event. Afterward, please complete and submit a short application form. Based on this form, the International Relations Office (IRO) will provide you with practical information about Trnava, travel arrangements, and available social activities.

Preparation for Departure

Accommodation
TRUNI offers a limited number of places for visitors at the Petra Pázmaňa Dormitory, located at Rybníková 13/A, Trnava (city centre). If you wish to stay in this dormitory, please indicate your preference in the application form.
Due to limited capacity, we will inform you in advance whether you have been allocated a room. A price list for visitors is available under Truni International > Important Documents > Dormitories Petra Pázmaňa – Price List.

The dormitory includes a self-service laundry room operated by payment card. An iron and drying rack are available at the reception.

Upon arrival at the dormitory reception, you will need a valid ID card or passport and must complete the registration form for the Foreign Police (Truni International > Important Documents > Residence Reporting – ENG). To save time, you can download, fill out, and sign the form in advance and bring it with you.

Health Insurance
We strongly recommend arranging commercial health and travel insurance valid for the entire duration of your stay in Slovakia. Citizens of the EU, EEA, and Switzerland should bring their European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) issued by their national health insurance provider.

Internet
Wi-Fi access via eduroam is available on university premises, including faculties and dormitories. If you already have an eduroam account from your home university, you can use it here as well. Individual Wi-Fi networks are also available in visitor rooms, but please note that these are not suitable for streaming videos or movies.
