The ERASMUS+ programme allows academic staff to carry out short-term teaching and training mobilities at partner universities abroad. The programme supports the exchange of professional knowledge and experience while contributing to the improvement of the educational and research quality at universities.
Types of Mobility
Within the Erasmus+ programme, mobility can be carried out not only for teaching or training purposes separately, but also as a combination of both activities. A valid inter-institutional agreement (IIA) (see Truni International > Agreements and Partnership) between the partner universities is required. The teacher’s programme at the host institution must be pre-agreed and documented in the Mobility Agreement for Teaching (LINK to Truni International > Important Documents > higher-education-mobility-agreement-teaching-KA131-KA171–2023_en). Together with the host university, a detailed programme will be arranged that includes both teaching and training activities. The number of compulsory teaching hours depends on the total duration of the mobility.
Objectives of Staff Mobility
Preparation and presentation of outputs or projects that add value to the department/faculty priorities in the field of internationalisation (during mobility, the basis for further projects of international cooperation within ERASMUS+ may be created – defined and monitored outputs of this kind).
Enhancement and specification of study content in disciplines taught within institutions participating in the ERASMUS+ programme.
Support for the professional knowledge and experience of academic and creative university staff.
