The ERASMUS+ program enables academic staff to carry out short-term teaching visits at partner universities abroad. The program supports the exchange of expertise and teaching experience while contributing to the improvement of educational and research quality at universities.

Teaching mobilities (STA) are carried out on the basis of Inter-institutional agreements (IIA) between partner universities. The teacher’s programme at the host institution must be agreed upon in advance in the form of a Mobility Programme for Teaching. This mobility allows academic staff to teach at a higher education institution in another participating country for a minimum of 2 days (with a requirement of at least 8 teaching hours per week). The usual duration of mobility is 5 days.

Objectives of Staff and Doctoral Mobility

  • Refining the content of study programmes at institutions for ERASMUS+ students.

  • Promoting the exchange of professional knowledge and experience among academic and non-academic university staff.

  • Enhancing the quality of education and research at universities through the multidimensional international experience of academic professionals.

  • Integrating knowledge and experience gained from mobility into the process of innovation within various aspects of academic life.
