KreativEU (Knowledge & Creativity European University) is a unique European alliance of universities established in 2022. It is a joint initiative driven by universities themselves, connecting cultural heritage, regional traditions, crafts, folklore, European identity, creativity, research, and innovation.
KreativEU was founded as a response to modern societal and educational challenges such as cultural fragmentation, sustainability, digitalization, and inclusive education.
Its main ambition is to create a fully integrated European university, enabling cross-border study, research, and mobility while strengthening regional, cultural, and environmental competences through an eco-cultural approach, connecting academic, social, and artistic missions of the member universities.
