Public Release of the Heritage Game Digital Application

Trnava University in Trnava invites students, researchers, heritage professionals, and members of the public to attend the public release of a new community-based digital application developed within the Erasmus+ project The Heritage Game: A Gamification Model for Community-Based Heritage Work.

The event will present an innovative tool designed to support community engagement with cultural heritage through gamification and digital technologies. The application allows users to explore heritage sites through interactive tasks, storytelling elements, and location-based challenges.

During the session, participants will see how stakeholders can use THEODEN within the Unity environment to create gamified heritage experiences. The programme will also include a live demonstration of the gameplay, showing how users interact with the system in practice – for example by scanning QR codes and completing tasks while moving through a heritage site.

The Heritage Game project brings together universities and partners across Europe to develop new ways of connecting local communities with cultural heritage through digital tools and participatory methods.
