Shaping Spaces – Creating Communities: Join the Lectures!

The University of Greifswald, a partner of Trnava University within the KreativEU alliance, is organizing a series of inspiring lectures from June 18 to June 20 as part of the International Student Festival 2026 (GrlStuF). Don’t miss the opportunity to take part!

Christian Schultz: How Big Is the Universe. June 18, 9:00–10:00
This lecture explores the enormous scale of the universe—from everyday human dimensions through the Solar System to the largest known objects. Schultz explains how scientists measure vast distances (e.g., in light-years) and uses comparisons to make otherwise unimaginable cosmic scales easier to understand.

Bakhtawar Khan: The Space Between Ideas. June 19, 9:00–10:00
This lecture focuses on how environments influence creativity and collaboration. Khan explains how virtual spaces (e.g., VR platforms) are reshaping the way we think and create by removing physical limitations and enabling new forms of interaction and reflection.

Third Lecture – To Be Announced

June 20, 9:00–10:00
The organizers will announce the speaker and topic of the third lecture in due course.
